For a number of years we have been running our Super Soccer Saturday (SSS) sessions and TQ Academy on a Friday evening in pursuit to bridge the gap between grassroots players and the elite. We certainly have been successful, with over 20 of our players signing for professional academies. However, more recently we have decided to bridge another gap between the beginner’s session (SSS) and TQ Academy, thus the Pre Academy has been created.
The Pre Academy is a tailor made technical development programme at a specific training age, to give the potential players a push to the Academy session where they will almost certainly mature and develop further. The session itself solely focuses on ball mastery and skill drills, it will equip any player who has the right attitude with the technical prerequisites for our more advanced sessions. The programme will be run by Ryan & Andy, you can find their Bio’s on the Our Coaches page.
Our director is a UEFA qualified coach with an infinite amount of experience of coaching in Premier League Academies. Therefore, he also has the contacts to open the doors in many clubs in the North West for any of our players with potential. Our younger coaches are ambitious and have an innovative nature due to the career path they have taken. Unlike a lot of coaches, they are not ex-players and consequently have worked tirelessly to get where they are today, accumulating countless hours of coaching experience and completing Honours degree’s in Science and Football. As a result of their expertise, we have been able to design a physical development programme to assist the technical programme.
During the summer we encourage our coaches to work for other company’s based in USA or Asia. Although we hold our own soccer camps during this time, we understand it is vitally important for coaches to experience new adventures and learn from various types of people. Upon returning home from their trips we have found greater productivity, vibrant characters, and independence which inevitably will improve our service.
Any person joining after the 1st session will have to pay £6.50 per session remaining in the block
